Missions
When Jesus came to the earth, He turned the world’s value system upside-down. Instead of living for Himself, Jesus modeled a life of servanthood and love. Instead of spending time with those in positions of power, Jesus chose to spend time with the hopeless. In the end, Jesus gave his life so that the whole world might come to know God.
As followers of Christ, we have been called to share this message with the world. This happens as we reach out to others through our words and our actions. Serving on a mission provides an incredible opportunity to share the hope that we have in practical ways and see lives changed.
Join one of our local, regional, or international mission teams and make a difference in the world.
Micro-Missions
Throughout our city, there are people in need physically and spiritually. Micro-missions give us the chance to meet those in need with a paintbrush, hug, food or prayer.
- Micro-Missions are one-day service projects which are scheduled every other month by the New Hope staff. Team members meet at their campus for a brief orientation and then travel together to the project site.
- Church-wide Micro-Missions take place throughout the year and include: Operation Backpack (collect school supplies), Thanksgiving food drive (collect non-perishable food items for the holidays), Adopt-a-family for Christmas (provide gifts for families in our area), and Ronald McDonald House (preparing meals for the entire month of April).

This will help to expand your worldview, experience the global body of Christ, and be open to what the Lord is calling you to do. Short term mission trips may include opportunities to provide medical assistance, disaster relief, help with building construction, or teach the Word of God. In 2010 an earthquake devastated the country of Haiti. As a result New Hope sent two teams in order to help with relief and to help rebuild. What we found was a young man on fire for God. With a little support from other churches, Caleb established a feeding program for children in the community of Jacmel. Since that time New Hope has made the commitment to build a church with Caleb and serve any way we can. Volunteers on this trip will work on a variety of projects identified daily. These projects can include helping with construction, a medical clinic, teaching Bible school to children, serving meals in the feeding program, or playing soccer in tent city.
