Jesus commanded that his followers “Go” and take the good news with
them. First in Jerusalem (that’s right where they were), then Judea
(that’s right next door), and Samaria (that’s close by but different
in race/culture), and to the ends of the earth (that’s everybody
else!). God is blessing us in our Jerusalem and has even given us a
regional reach. But God is calling us to do more! New Hope desires
to be a “sending” church. And now, Mission Trips are permanently
embedded in the landscape of our future. It is something we must do,
not only for the families in far away places that are helped
directly, but because of the impact it has on our own walk with
Christ as we serve Him far from our comfort zone.
We have recently taken teams to Nicaragua, New Orleans, Mississippi,
and Juarez.
As Mission Trips are announced, we ask that you pray about joining.
Normal trips last a week and cost +/-$500 depending on the nature of
the trip. The price includes building materials or supplies for the
actual purpose of the mission. Why not begin praying now and putting
money aside so you’ll be ready when God says, “Go” to you!
