New Hope Kids is our Children’s Ministry area where we introduce the children of New Hope, ages birth to 4th grade, to a lifelong relationship with God. New Hope Kids takes place during all weekend services, and each class has age-appropriate lessons and activities.
We also have a New Hope Kids program for children with special needs called Hope Kids during the 5:00 p.m. service on Saturday, the 7:00 p.m. service on Wednesday and the 9:45 a.m. and the 11:10 a.m. services on Sunday. The Hope Kids Ministry aims to support children with special needs in all aspects of their spiritual growth including worshiping, experiencing fellowship, praying, and serving others.
If your child is new to New Hope Kids, you can enjoy the convenience of pre-registering them prior to your arrival. Simply click the following New Hope Kids icon, complete the brief form, and press submit. You may obtain your child's name badge at a manned check-in station in the NHK registration area.
Infants to 2 years (Toddlers): At this level, one-on-one interaction is stressed. Lots of love and attention are paid to these little ones. In addition, the two year old toddlers receive a Bible lesson each week geared toward the bigger concept of Jesus being love. Fun, upbeat music and crafts are utilized to enhance each lesson.
3 year to 5 year (Preschool): In this class, we use exciting video, live drama, and fun-to-sing songs to teach children Bible stories illustrating God’s amazing love. Children discover that God loves them so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to be their forever friend! Lessons are reinforced with the use of crafts, games, and other fun activities.
Kindergarten – 4th Grade (Elementary): This highly energetic class utilizes upbeat, contemporary Christian music, exciting video curriculum, live drama, and group games to teach students important Biblical truths about God’s love. Because these children are older, we are often able to include them in the programming, music, and drama!
