New Hope Kids Camp FAQ

  • We have a full schedule each day to maximize our time at camp. Your child will be engaging in worship, Bible studies, large group activities, recreation and all kinds of other fun, intentionally focused on Jesus.

  • Drop off will take place on Wednesday, June 26th. Specific time and location information will be communicated to parents closer to camp.

  • Bus transportation will be provided for campers and leaders to and from Carolina Creek.

  • Pick up will take place on Saturday, June 29th. Specific time and location information will be communicated to parents closer to camp.

  • Yes, we do mail call every day and the campers love receiving letters from home. We will have camp mailboxes at the church on the day of departure where you can deposit your letters. We will not accept food, toys, gifts or trinkets of any kind in mail.

  • To discourage homesickness, campers will only be able to make or receive calls in the event of a true emergency.

  • Campers may not bring a cell phone or other electronic device with them to camp. Any electronic devices brought to camp will be confiscated and returned to parents once we arrive back from camp.

  • Yes. All medication must be in the original container. A medication form will be provided to list dosage and times of medication dispersal. With permission, age-appropriate over-the-counter medications will be administered to your camper, if necessary.

  • Campers will visit the Snack Shack daily and the Camp Store at least once during their visit. Spending money at these locations is optional. Carolina Creek does not accept cash or credit cards. Funds can be added to your camper’s account through the Carolina Creek Portal.

  • Campers are grouped by gender and grade. Groups typically consist of 8-12 campers and two trained leaders, one from New Hope Church and one from Carolina Creek. Campers eat, bunk and engage in all activities with their group.

  • Bunkmate requests can be submitted on the registration form. We do our best to honor every bunkmate request, when possible. Campers must be the same gender and grade to qualify for a bunkmate request.

  • Once registered through New Hope Church, a link will be sent for campers to register on the Carolina Creek Portal. This link will allow parents/guardians to finish registration information, including medical information, emergency contacts, as well as an opportunity to add funds for campers to spend at camp.

  • Yes, closer to camp, we will provide a parent letter with a camp schedule, packing list, departure/arrival details and more!
