STUDENT LIFEGROUPS

6:00PM-7:30PM | Sunday NIGHTS | All Campuses

Hey Students! LifeGroups are back in 2023! A LifeGroup is more than just a Bible study group. It is a group of students who do life together. It is our hope that the students in your group will become a family and learn how to grow in community, knowledge, and outreach. We cannot wait to see you at LifeGroups on Sunday!

Spring Semester: April 7th-April 28th

WHAT ARE LIFEGROUPS?

  • LifeGroups are a 3 to 6 week study on Sunday nights that help to equip your student to know Christ and make Him known. Each semester our team puts together a different lesson series that is tailored to 5th-12th graders. On Sunday nights, your student will hangout LifeGroups begin with a hangout time, including free food and games. Then, we watch our video which is made by our NHS LifeGroups team. Next, the students split into small groups (around 8-10 students), that are separated by grade and gender, where they will dive deeper into the topic.

  • At LifeGroups, we go over age-appropriate topics that are relevant in your students lives. All of our studies are based on the bible and its teachings. Since each group is split into grade and gender, the leaders are trained to gear the conversation towards that specific group. We try to make everything relatable and applicable to every student's life so they can continue to grow in their relationship with Jesus. For our current fall semester, we are focusing on community and what it looks like to have friendships rooted in faith.

  • Every small group has someone leading the discussion and making sure it’s focused on Jesus. Every coach (Adult Leader) is background checked and has been officially trained by our LifeGroups team. We also have student leaders for our high school groups leading their peers in conversation.

  • We believe parents are the primary disciple makers of every single one of these students, so we have a few resources for you to get involved. We send out a car ride home text after every LifeGroup session with a couple conversation starters to help you dive deeper into the topic with your student. On the Mondays after LifeGroups, we also send out a family devotional for you to walk through. We would love for you to get involved on our LifeGroup serving team. You could help students check in, serve pizza, lead a group, or join our chairs team. We are always looking for willing volunteers in every category so if you want to get involved just contact one of the student pastors at your campus!

WHY LIFEGROUPS?

LIFEGROUPS CREATES COMMUNITY

Church is better together! At LifeGroups, students have the opportunity to create relationships with others that are in the same grade, gender, and season of life. Our goal is that students find a group of believing friends that stick around long after LifeGroups are over.

LIFEGROUPS IS AN EXPERIENCE

LifeGroups are FUN! We create an experience for your student to have fun with great clean music, games, and dinner conversations. This helps make LifeGroups something to look forward to.

LIFEGROUPS DEEPEN FAITH

At LifeGroups we watch a Bible based video created by the NH Students LifeGroup Team. Students will then join groups based on grade and gender to be led in discussion by trained NHS Coaches and Leaders. This allows your student to deepen their faith and know Jesus in a deeper way.

SPRING 2024 LIFEGROUP CONTENT

Week one of our spring LifeGroups, Pastor Nick tells us what it means to bear each other’s burdens.

In week two of LifeGroups, we learned about the importance of prayer in our community. Pastor Will then challenged our students to reach out and pray for those around them.

In week three of LifeGroups, Pastor Alex encourages our students to expand their community and reminds us that we are all united under Christ.

In our final week of Spring LifeGroups, Pastor Matt talks about forgiveness and why we should forgive those in our community.

 FAMILY RESOURCES

We as NH Students believe that the parents are the primary disciple makers in the home. That is why we want to equip you, the parents, with the proper resources to continue the conversation after LifeGroups. Below you will find a weekly family devotional that dives deeper into our LifeGroup topic and allows you to become a part of the conversation.
